A rhyming Hebrew poem. It tells a story of connection, addressed to everyone: a project of worldwide balance, fed by our own inner strength. All the organs are joined together, and it is from there that we draw our inspiration. Together we will make a new reality, every man and every woman. We are all one body — whole, healthy, united — bound by feeling to a new way: love, acceptance, patience; help, forgiveness, compassion. Each of us is singular, like a cell in one body. As a personal way of acting, we will change the present into a good and joyful future. We share a round body, and it is the wide world; we are part of the whole, and in time that will prove worth it. Now we understand what our sages said — in giving to another, we give to ourselves. So let us all begin with a thought, and let it pass through the whole of our settlement.
The values
Twelve values, and the way follows from them.
- Change
- Begins with awareness. A process characterised by letting go of instinctual motives and taking up motives grounded in values, as a personal way of acting.
- Choice
- A wider range of possibilities for self-realisation, through finding common ground in ideas with others.
- Responsibility
- Today's act, made in awareness of its consequences in the future — in private life, in family life, in the community, and in the country we live in.
- Friendship
- Encouraging an act of connection on the basis of finding common ground, for the sake of mutual development.
- Mutual guarantee
- The commitment of the one who has the capacity, to vouch for the development of the one who does not.
- Love
- The way to a bond between companions on the road.
- Self-expression
- A means of drawing out the singularity present in every person.
- Listening
- Sensitivity to the messages being conveyed as an expression of real needs — beyond the words spoken, and according to the speaker's original intent.
- Knowledge
- Developing, gathering and working the data into a plan by which the vision can be realised.
- Commitment
- To carrying out the actions of the new way of value change in the State of Israel, even where it is harder and more demanding.
- Loyalty
- Persistence, at every moment, in the actions actually being carried out — until the vision is realised.
- Unity
- We are all one body.

A programme for empowering values
The spirit of the programme: replacing conditional action (driven by instinct) with guided action (driven by values), and so setting in motion a process of change that can lead an adolescent to choose their own view of the world
To be a person who creates reality, rather than one who is dragged into a reality that already exists.
Basic assumptions:
- Every person has personal values, absorbed from their home and from the surroundings they live in.
- Empowering the foundational values can bring about credible and stable change, capable of serving a process of change for the better.
- A person who acts out of values is one whose ability to create a new reality is greater than that of a person whose actions arise mainly from the instinct to survive and to exist.
Empowering values can yield results across a range of areas, such as:
